Sedimentary Mug Two

£32.00

The Sedimentary Mugs are named after the pattern that the mug body takes on during making. The Mugs are made by blending Terracotta and Stoneware clays to create different colours, then marbling those clays together using the techniques I’ve learned from my Damascus Porcelain.

This creates a layered look to the mug body and by keeping the outside walls unglazed, they look like the layers of rock and stone in sedimentary formations.

The outside of these mugs are left unglazed, but the insides are fully glazed and thus food safe
