The Damascus Porcelain collection is made from using multiple layers of stained porcelain, formed into billets inspired by the working of folded steel.
These billets are then thrown on the wheel and the rotation twists the layers together creating swirls and marbling throughout the piece’s body.
The piece is then clear glazed to let the colours of the porcelain do all the talking.
This pieces is a carved on the walls to create facets that change the patterning.
