The Knife-Runner
This is a fully functional bud vase hand thrown and then sculpted in a 60’s sci-fi style.
These pieces are a homage to the 60’s sci-fi style and were made to evoke a childish and playful feeling combined with the classical look of ceramic. They have a slightly tarnished finish to give the pieces an air of age.
The colour palette is kept minimal with the primary surfaces being red and chrome. The raw clay can be seen through the clear glaze, lending to a more classical and raw look.
Each piece in this series in named after a particular Sci-fi inspiration of mine, 10 Punk Points if you can’t figure them all out!
